NFL - Week 12 Quick Hits

NFL Season: Week 12
Winners, Losers, Quick Hits, & WTF!?

Yeah, I took off of this blog, so what? Wanna fight about it?

Winners
Giants – Whose slumping? They beat the tar out of the Packers at home on SNF 38-10. Eli Manning showed up in a big way, and the ‘Giant’ is far from dead.

RGIII – He is going to battle it out with Doug Martin for Rookie of the Year, but with him coming into Dallas, and straight up making their ‘elite defense’ look terrible? Yeah, you get on here.

Jaguars – I’ve ragged on them a lot, but it’s amazing what happens when you get a real Quarterback. Congrats to them, and officially not being the worst team in the league. That’s rightfully reserved for the Chiefs.

Ray Rice – 4th & 29? Are f’n kidding me???? I-N-S-A-N-E!!!!! Tough break Chargers.

This type of shit only happens on Madden folks

Losers
Jets – Not only did you get embarrassed on Turkey Day at home, you lost Fireman Ed. Fireman Ed.

Steelers – It looked like they swapped jerseys with the Browns on the day. 7 turnovers? Yikes. Each of their RBs fumbled on the day. Charlie Batch starting made people think why Brett Favre wasn’t in the game. You gave the division to the Ravens, grats.

Lions – Not because they played poorly, but because their Head Coach forgot the rule he called Harbaugh out on last year. Stupid rule, but you should know better.

Raiders – God awful, and then you throw down Andy Dalton after the play was whistled dead. You’re going to hell, Curse of the Gingers

If you ever think you're day sucks, just be glad you aren't Mark Sanchez

Quick Hits
Matt Stafford & Tony Romo both threw for 441 yards, and had nearly identical attempts. Stafford (61), Romo (62)

As much as it pains to me to bring attention to this, but the 49ers 2 Pick Sixes were the first the club has had since 1995, when Ken Norton Jr. did it twice against St. Louis (10/22/95)

I don’t smell football leather anymore’ –Mark Sanchez
What QBs are gonna be available in the draft again?’ –Chiefs fans

Bill Belichick got his 200th win as a Head Coach on Thursday, and could pass Dan Reeves (201), and tie Marty Schottenheimer (205), before the end of this season

Now now Jay

WTF!?
Ryan Lindley had a horrid rookie outing, throwing 4INT on the day, including 2 Pick Sixes to Janoris Jenkins

The Patriots scored 4 Touchdowns in a span of 2 minutes, 14 seconds

Touched on it earlier, but the Steelers running backs had fumbilitis, as Dwyer, Mendenhall, Rainey, & Redman all coughed it up. Oh, and so did Emmanuel Sanders
