Notes from Hispandrix
MIA@BUF: Reggie Bush got benched after an early fumble in the game, and apologized to the ‘Dolphin Nation’. The Dolphins responded accordingly by getting the dookie knocked out of them 37-3 at home against the Titans. The Bills nearly pulled off the upset against the Pats last week, but came up just short. Both clubs need this win, as they are on losing streaks, and with it being a divisional game, it is sure to be at least mildly entertaining. I’ll side with the Dolphins to get their stuff together, and get back on track.

GB@DET: The Lions had a real opportunity to put themselves back in the top of the conference, but was bested by the Vikes. After starting 2-3, the Packers have won 4 straight, powered by Aaron Rodgers & company. The Lions may be up to the challenge this week, but the Packers are playing too well to drop this one.

AZ@ATL: The Cardinals have played horrible, losing their last 5. They had a week to think about things, but sadly I don’t think it helps their chances here. Yes, Atlanta is reeling from their first loss of the season (WHO DAT), but one would think they might actually try this game (Roddy White, lol). I’ll take Atlanta, but then again, It’s a Trap!

TB@CAR: Tampa Bay quietly sits above .500, just coming off a win against the Chargers at home, and extended their winning streak to 3. The Panthers, well, they aren’t getting any better. Cam Newton is in his Sophomore Slump, and I see little to stop the Bucs here. For our sake, we better pull for the Kitties Panthers.

CLE@DAL: It’s not December yet, and after one win over the Eagles, suddenly the ‘playoff’ talk comes about from Dallas. Just a week before, people were insinuating that Jerry Jones should abandon his GM post. Cleveland surprisingly isn’t the worst team in the season. If this were them at home, I’d be inclined to pick upset. However, the Cowboys aren’t so great at home. Romo has been playing virtually ‘error free’, but I’m gonna say this will be one they’ll struggle with. I don’t think the Browns will win, but I think you’ll see a close game, but the Cowboys still emerge out on top.

PHI@WAS: Rookie QB, on the road. I'll take the Skins.

NYJ@STL: The Jets are the worst 3-6 team out there. They're not going anywhere.

CIN@KC: Kansas City was just happy to find the end zone, and they were so close to getting the upset victory over the Steelers. However, they’re still on the clock. Cincy came off a very impressive victory over the Giants. I don’t see them faltering here, and I believe we may see Brady Quinn. Yup, sold.

JAC@HOU: I just wonder how many points the Texans offense will get.

NO@OAK: You should know by now that I won’t give up much. I will say this, the Saints cannot overlook this game, regardless if they are favored or not.

SD@DEN: Peyton Manning may be battling AP (Terminator) for comeback player of the year. The Broncos are on a four game winning streak, and they should make it five after Sunday.

IND@NE: What the Colts have been achieving this season is quite fascinating. What the players have done to honor Chuck Pagano is one of the classiest things I’ve seen in recent memory. Both teams have been playing well, and at 6-3, this makes for a highly entertaining matchup, with Brady vs. Luck. However, the Pats are full steam ahead here, and while I think there’s potential for a Luck-lead upset, Brady should show him up. I only wish these two were still division foes (because Miami is more South than Indy).

BAL@PIT: Banged up Big Ben, and he will not play. Baltimore was able to sweep the Steelers last year, I think there’s a good chance we see them emerge victorious here powered by Ray Rice. This game is extra crucial, because with Baltimore at 7-2, and Pittsburgh at 6-3, this could help the Ravens get a stranglehold of the division.

CHI@SF: This went from a potential marquee matchup to ‘who the hell is playing Quarterback?’ Alex Smith & Jay Cutler are both hurt, and no certainties that they’ll play at this point. We know that both of these defenses are legit, but I’ll still keep with the Bears bandwagon. Let’s just hope we don’t see another tie.
