Notes from Hispandrix
IND@JAC: Indy has been playing well, winning their last 3 games, and all Jacksonville done has dropped 5 in a row. Call it your classic trap game for the Colts, but I believe Luck will have a great deal of success for the Colts. Besides, who the hell is gonna score for the Jags?
TheRealJRad's take: Onside Punt
SD@TB: Chargers may have won against Kansas City to restore some faith in their attack again, but for the young season, they are 0-2 against Non-Conference teams. Tampa has won their last two, and Doug Martin has been scary. Also - Josh Freeman hasn’t been too shabby either....whatever personal issues he has been working on is working. Give the home team the nod, and V-Jax to maybe make his old team pay.
TEN@MIA: Titans have lost their last 2, being blown out by the Bears, and losing a close one to the Colts. The Phins almost got a victory in a very entertaining game against the Colts last week. No brainer in my opinion....I’ll take Miami here, lead by a heavy dose of ‘Run Reggie, Run!’
BUF@NE: New England, fresh off the bye, at home, against the Bills. All they did was beat the bejesus out of the Rams in London. Too many weapons, and a better Pats defense should make for a landslide victory.
OAK@BAL: No Darren McFadden, forcing Carson Palmer to throw a lot. Do I need to spell out Interception & Pick Six? Look for Rice to have a huge day. Maybe we’ll see the return of T-Sizzle here too.
DEN@CAR: Panthers got some of that growl purr back last week with a nice win over the Redskins. That’s about where it stops for them. Broncos have won their last 3, and keep getting better & better.
NYG@CIN: Both teams coming off a loss at home, and I would have expected a bit more from the Bengals at this stage. I look for the Giants to rebound on the road. Nothing more, nothing less.
DET@MIN: I remember when we’d laugh this matchup off. 5-4 vs.. 4-4....Lions on the up with a 2 game streak, and the exact opposite for the Vikes. AP may run wild, but I believe the Lions will keep it rollin’ here.
ATL@NO: As always, Keys to the Game. However, just read Curtis Lofton’s reaction to him playing against his former team.
NYJ@SEA: Mark Sanchez on the road against arguably the toughest place to play. Yeah, not even worth mentioning much more.
DAL@PHI: Philly is a 4 game losing streak, and Dallas 2. Respectively, this divisional matchup will always bring about something good. However, Dallas’ defense will be able to keep Vick in check, and may walk away with a victory. But then again, it’s eerily close to December.
STL@SF: 49ers roll. They’re playing too well for the Rams to stop them, even if Alex Smith is the real Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.
HOU@CHI: Hard to debate that this is the Game of the Week, with both clubs being 7-1. Chicago’s defense is something scary, but there’s a chance we won’t see Charles Tillman playing with the imminent birth of his child (we wish you well sir). Something to keep an eye out for, but aside from that. Both defenses clashing will mean one offense has to prevail. I’ll take the home team.
KC@PIT: The Kansas City Chiefs are On the Clock.
