1st & 5:

Week by Week Picks for the 2012 NFL Season

The Season is starting to make a little more sense now. See Week 6 Results Here, or Look Below! Terrible week, and we're all tied!

Your Leaderboard after 6 Weeks:

Notes from Hispandrix
SEA@SF: Hard to think that the 49ers will drop two in a row, especially at home. I believe the Giants found the way to power them, and with Seattle coming off of a stunning victory, it actually makes for a decent watch this week (just murder Cee-Lo Green). I'll side with the 9ers tho, Russell Wilson will struggle against their defense.

TEN@BUF: The Titans are well rested, and are coming off a win against the Steelers. It's not that I don't think they'll lose with ease, but I think the OT win against the Cardinals last week was what the Bills needed to maybe jumpstart them a little.

DAL@CAR: Dallas outplayed the Ravens, and still lost. I hope Dez Bryant has been practicing catching. Cam Newton has been struggling, and this game could go down to the last 2 minutes. We're still a ways away from December for Dallas to choke again, but I still like their chances this week.

BAL@HOU: If this were Baltimore at home, I'd take them, even without Ray Lewis & Lardarius Webb. The Texans just came off being embarrassed at home in the prime time against the Packers. I think this rematch of last year's AFC Divisional Playoff will be a Texans victory. Look for Foster to be a huge factor here, and you might see Andre Johnson in the endzone a couple times.

CLE@IND: Kudos to Cleveland for their first win. The Bengals may have beat themselves. The Colts were shamed last week. I think Luck will find some magic here, and be able to manufacture a win with ease. One thing is certain, we wish you well, Scott Fujita.

AZ@MIN: I wanted to take Arizona here, but with John Skelton, we're not sure which QB will show up. The Vikings never quit last week, and I like them at home to create some chaos for the Cardinals offense.

WAS@NYG: Giants are too powerful to be thrown off by RGIII. You could say trap game, but it's tough to ignore they handled up on the 49ers. Big day from Eli, RGIII might be concussioned out of the game.

GB@STL: The Packers found their groove, well at least Aaron Rodgers did. Jordy Nelson had shown those signs of life. They can beat you in so many ways, but in this matchup, I will side with the Packers defense stopping the Rams offense.

NO@TB: As always, you'll have to look to my Keys to the Game, but fresh off the bye & healthier squad, plus Jonathan Vilma. What do you think?

NYJ@NE: Mark my words. Tom Brady is pissed, and so are the Patriots. I wouldn't want to play them after suffering the type of loss they did last week. They'll roll here.

JAC@OAK: In the matchup that no one really gives a crap about this week, side with the Raiders.

PIT@CIN: I just look at injuries being a factor for the Steelers here, maybe my surprise pick of the week. Could be a good old fashioned shootout, but I think Cincy might steal this game.

DET@CHI: Detroit won their first game, after looking pretty bad against the Eagles for the majority of the game. Chicago, believe it or not, is red hot, and at home.

BYE: MIA, DEN, KC, SD, PHI, ATL
