Notes from Hispandrix
NO@ATL: I stated this in my Keys to the Game. Won't bet against my Saints.
SEA@CHI: Chicago is playing well, and handled business last week against the Vikings. What do you think they'll do to Russell Wilson?
HOU@TEN: Yeah, about that. Houston continues to roll, and the Titans may make it interesting, but even if the Texans get down, they've proven they can overcome it. Have you voted Matt Schaub in for the Pro Bowl yet?
NE@MIA: New England scored 28 points against the Jets in 2:14 last week, and didn't let up. There's too many weapons to stop. Let's see if the Dolphins try to fool them again with the sprinklers.
JAC@BUF: Jacksonville is improving, but takes it on the road to Buffalo. I like Fitzpatrick to have a pretty big day, and may make Henne have a pretty rough one.
IND@DET: I do like Indy, but even with the Lions losing last week, they're season is on the line here, and they did hang in there with Houston. They have to win, and I believe Stafford & company will deliver.
CAR@KC: ______ will score for the Chiefs. Yup, you couldn't think of anyone either. Even if you could, when was the last time they scored?
MIN@GB: Green Bay angry. They'll rebound after being embarrassed by the Giants. Gonna be a tough day for the Vikes.
SF@STL: QB controversy or not, their defense can win games. Let's just hope that they remember the OT rules this time in case it happens again.
AZ@NYJ: The Jets are perfect for the Cardinals to snap their losing streak too. If they lose to Ryan Lindley, we may have to keep the fans on suicide watch, if they aren't already.
TB@DEN: Mildly intriguing matchup here, as the Bucs played the Falcons extremely tough, but fell short on the day. I think they'll pose a challenge for the Broncos, but in their backyard, it should be a Broncos victory.
PIT@BAL: No Big Ben downplays this game a great deal. Charlie Batch would rather just not show up on Sunday. Oh hey, did I mention this is in Baltimore? Ravens, Ravens, Ravens.
CIN@SD: Oh San Diego, you're in trouble. Cincy just beat the tar out of the Raiders. I think they'll replicate their mistreatment of the West Coast.
CLE@OAK: Mighty mo' is on the Browns side. That's not a typo, and yes, I'm perfectly fine. The Raiders aren't playing worth a dookie. Could hit an all time bottom low here, and while this is my stretch pick of the week, it's not that far off base.
PHI@DAL: Hmm....December game, prime time, Cowboys meltdown in the making. But then again, the Eagles lost Desean Jackson for the year, cut Jason Babin, and are still relying on Rookies.
NYG@WAS: RGIII sure did impress against the Cowboys, and Eli Manning got his swagger back. Probably the most entertaining game of the week. I like the Giants to win here, because they handled Green Bay last week in impressive fashion.
